Based in Mumbai, Ashok Behera is a telecom professional & a well renowned wildlife photographer. He has travelled across India and world to pursue his passion in wildlife photography and to capture the essence of mother nature unfolding in front of his eyes. He is also an avid birder. He strongly believes in the motto that “Every picture tells a story and I am only a medium”. Wherever he goes, he loves to meet people & make new friends. He admires the various culture and traditions of the people he meets at different places and believes by mixing with people from various places makes our life worth living as you get to learn new things from each experience. He considers photography as a platform to make people aware about how beautiful mother nature is and how important it is to conserve nature in its raw & rustic form and not to disturb any habitat in the name of development so that our next generations are also as fortunate to see & experience what we have in our life. His lifetime goal is to travel around the globe and to capture at least one wildlife natural history moment that no other photographer in the world has ever achieved.
